March

This month is coming to an end on a real jam-up of project priorities competing for my attention. In the last two weeks I’ve discovered the need for a Special Permit on an office renovation project, strategized with the project team on how to approach the application, worked with the client on the Poconos Cottage to reduce the footprint of the design (cost reduction), redesigned the mudroom addition on a Needham project to bring in more light, had a builder request a completely updated set of drawings before the excavator arrives (asked on Friday, excavation begins today/tomorrow!), I got to see a project that is nearly move-in ready and the office client requested some design changes with just days left before the application deadline!

Whew, that’s a lot, especially when you figure in all of the other office operations (taxes!) and home life things that are going on.
